      What You’ll Do:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      As an OT Cyber Security Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of the firm’s operational technology systems. Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • OT Security Tool Administration & Enhancement:<\/strong> Administering and continuously enhancing a comprehensive suite of OT security tools<\/strong>. This includes platforms for configuration monitoring, robust logging, targeted vulnerability assessment, and detailed asset inventory management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • NERC CIP Compliance:<\/strong> Meticulously maintaining and securing critical infrastructure systems in strict compliance with NERC CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) standards<\/strong>, ensuring regulatory adherence and operational resilience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Security Monitoring & Response:<\/strong> Proactively monitoring and swiftly responding to security events within the OT environment. You’ll perform thorough system audits and support essential compliance reporting activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Cross-Functional Collaboration:<\/strong> Collaborating effectively across various functions with engineers, operators, and external vendors to design, implement, and maintain robust OT security measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Automation & Continuous Improvement:<\/strong> Contributing actively to automation initiatives, developing comprehensive documentation, and fostering continuous improvement within security operations processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Incident Investigation:<\/strong> Participating in investigations of security incidents affecting OT systems, helping to identify root causes and implement effective remediation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Security Hardening:<\/strong> Implementing security hardening best practices for various OT devices and systems to reduce the attack surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong blend of specialized expertise and practical experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Experience:<\/strong> 4-6 years of direct experience in OT (Operational Technology) cybersecurity<\/strong>, with a strong preference for candidates from the electric utility sector<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • System Administration & Security Tools:<\/strong> A strong background in system administration for industrial control systems and proven experience with various security tools relevant to OT environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Scripting Proficiency:<\/strong> Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python<\/strong> and PowerShell<\/strong> for automation and data analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • NERC CIP Compliance:<\/strong> Hands-on experience and a solid understanding of compliance frameworks, particularly NERC CIP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Problem-Solving & Communication:<\/strong> Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex OT security issues and strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Additional Beneficial Experience:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Candidates with the following experience will be at a distinct advantage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Specific OT Security Tools:<\/strong> Experience with tools like Tripwire<\/strong> (for configuration integrity), Splunk<\/strong> (for SIEM\/logging), BigFix<\/strong> (for endpoint management), or ChangeGear<\/strong> (for change management).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
