In this critical role, you will be instrumental in supporting a diverse range of development and operations teams. (Remote options for exceptional candidates in specific circumstances will be considered.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pay Rate:<\/strong> $65-$70\/hour on W2 Only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s the Job?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a GCP Application Security Architect, you will be responsible for fortifying the security posture of cloud-native applications and services within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem. Your key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application Security Architecture Design:<\/strong> Leading the design and implementation of robust application security architectures specifically tailored for services and applications hosted on <strong>GCP (Google Cloud Platform)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Secure-by-Design Initiatives:<\/strong> Championing and ensuring <strong>secure-by-design<\/strong> initiatives are embedded across the entire <strong>Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)<\/strong>. This includes conducting thorough <strong>threat modeling<\/strong> and comprehensive <strong>risk assessments<\/strong> from inception.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:<\/strong> Collaborating closely with software engineers, cloud architects, and other technical teams to align development practices with industry-leading security best practices for cloud-native applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Secure Coding &amp; CI\/CD Promotion:<\/strong> Defining and actively promoting secure coding standards across development teams. You will also design and advocate for security-focused <strong>CI\/CD (Continuous Integration\/Continuous Delivery) pipelines<\/strong> that automate security checks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emerging GCP Security Monitoring:<\/strong> Continuously monitoring the landscape of emerging <strong>GCP security features<\/strong>, services, and best practices.
