    What’s the Job?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    As a Firmware Engineer 2, you will be deeply involved in the development, testing, and debugging of embedded firmware for advanced hardware. Your key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Feature Requirement Analysis:<\/strong> Gaining a thorough understanding of new feature requirements and analyzing the expected system behavior to inform firmware design.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Embedded Firmware Development & Debugging:<\/strong> Developing, rigorously testing, and effectively debugging embedded firmware primarily utilizing C<\/strong> and Python<\/strong> programming languages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Firmware Modification & Unit Testing:<\/strong> Modifying existing firmware to adapt to new standards, enhance functionality, or resolve issues, and conducting comprehensive unit testing to ensure code quality and stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Independent Issue Reproduction:<\/strong> Working independently to accurately reproduce observations and reported issues from other engineers, facilitating efficient debugging and problem resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Patch Integration & Debug Information Collection:<\/strong> Integrating firmware patches, updates, and new features, as well as collecting critical debug information from various devices to aid in analysis and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Collaboration & Support:<\/strong> Collaborating with hardware engineers, software teams, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and functionality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      What’s Needed?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      We’re looking for a skilled Firmware Engineer with a solid foundation in embedded systems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Embedded Software Development Experience:<\/strong> 2-4 years of direct experience<\/strong> in embedded software development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Educational Background:<\/strong> A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • C Programming Proficiency:<\/strong> A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with C programming<\/strong>, specifically in an embedded context.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Python Scripting Proficiency:<\/strong> A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Python scripting<\/strong>, utilized for automation, testing, or debugging embedded systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Version Control Experience:<\/strong> At least 2 years of experience with Git<\/strong> for version control and collaborative development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Problem-Solving Skills:<\/strong> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex firmware issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
