What You’ll Be Doing:

As the AI Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of AI within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Governance Development: You’ll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and continuously refining a comprehensive AI governance strategy and overarching vision. This involves ensuring that all AI initiatives align seamlessly with broader business objectives and adhere to the latest industry best practices and ethical guidelines.
• Policy Creation and Management: This role requires close collaboration with both the Corporate IT and Compliance departments. Together, you will establish, build, and regularly update the company’s IT Governance policies, specifically adapting them to encompass AI-driven processes and technologies.
• Compliance Oversight: You will be responsible for managing and ensuring ongoing compliance with a wide array of internal company policies, external regulations, and relevant industry standards. This includes navigating the evolving landscape of AI ethics and data privacy laws.
• Audit and Monitoring: A key aspect of the role involves conducting regular audits and diligently monitoring IT projects and systems, particularly those incorporating AI. Your focus will be on ensuring absolute data integrity, robust security posture, and consistent compliance across all operations.
• Risk Management: You will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management processes specifically tailored to AI and IT. This includes proactively identifying potential IT risks, conducting thorough assessments of their impact, and devising effective mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a candidate who brings a robust blend of expertise and experience to this critical role:

• IT Governance Expertise: A strong foundational understanding of established IT governance frameworks is essential, including well-known methodologies such as COBIT, NIST, and ITIL.
• AI Governance Leadership: You must have proven, hands-on experience in the practical creation and successful delivery of AI governance initiatives within an organizational setting. This isn’t just about theory; it’s about practical application.
• IT Discipline Knowledge: A solid working knowledge of various core IT-related disciplines is required, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, DevOps, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines, understanding how governance principles apply across these areas.
• Data Management Proficiency: Experience with comprehensive data management practices is crucial. This includes familiarity with data modeling techniques, data classification strategies for sensitive information, and master data management principles.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field is a fundamental requirement for this position.
