Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual ready to kickstart their wireless engineering career:
- Experience Level: 1–3 years of experience in networking or wireless roles.
- RF Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with RF survey tools (Ekahau preferred).
- Cisco Basics: A basic understanding of Cisco APs and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs).
- Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously expand your technical skills.
- Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel (approximately 1–2 weeks/month on average) to various project sites across the U.S.
What You’ll Do:
As an Entry-Level Wireless Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience across various aspects of wireless network deployment and optimization:
- RF Survey Execution: Conduct hybrid RF surveys (combining predictive modeling with on-site validation) to gather essential data for network design.
- Wireless Design Tools: Utilize Ekahau AI Pro and Sidekick I/II for comprehensive wireless network design and analysis.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze RF data collected from surveys and contribute to delivering actionable reports and documentation.
- Wireless Solution Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of wireless solutions using Cisco Catalyst 91xx APs, 9800 WLCs, and associated antenna systems.
- Remote Support & Consulting: Provide remote design support and assist with customer-facing consulting, learning to translate technical concepts for clients.
- PDI Contributions: Contribute to wireless Plan, Design, Implement (PDI) activities, participating from conceptualization through successful execution.
