What’s the Job?

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining development processes and ensuring the robust delivery of applications. Your key responsibilities will include:

• CI/CD Pipeline Design & Implementation: Designing, developing, and implementing robust CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines to automate and accelerate software development and deployment processes.
• Deployment & Integration Collaboration: Collaborating closely with development teams to ensure smooth, efficient deployment and seamless integration of applications across various environments.
• System Performance & Reliability Optimization: Continuously monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Management: Managing and maintaining infrastructure using Azure DevOps tools and embracing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for consistent and reproducible environments.
• Deployment Troubleshooting & Support: Providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex deployment issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective resolutions.
• Automation Focus: Developing automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort and improve overall operational efficiency.

We’re looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with a solid technical foundation:

• Azure DevOps Expertise: Proven experience with Azure DevOps and its associated tools, demonstrating a strong understanding of its capabilities for CI/CD, source control, and project management.
• Cloud Computing Fundamentals: A strong understanding of core cloud computing concepts and services, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
• Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and task orchestration.
• Containerization Knowledge: Familiarity with modern containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing to shared goals and knowledge.
