Important Note: This role requires an on-site interview in New York City. There will be no remote or web interviews conducted beforehand. The interview and work location will be at 52 Chambers St, New York, New York 10007.

Compensation & Work Week:

• Corporate Rate (for external contractors): $110.00 per hour
• Experis Employee Rate (with benefits): $100.00 per hour
• Work Week: This is a 35-hour work week.

What’s the Job?

As a Data Architect, you will be a pivotal figure in designing, building, and maintaining robust and secure data solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Data Warehousing Design: Designing highly efficient, scalable, and secure data warehousing solutions that meet the evolving analytical needs of the organization.
• Architectural Pattern Expertise: Applying expert-level proficiency in established data warehouse architectural patterns, specifically STAR Schema and Snowflake Schema, to optimize data retrieval and reporting.
• Data Modeling Leadership: Leading efforts in comprehensive data modeling, encompassing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, to ensure data integrity, consistency, and usability across systems.
• ETL & Big Data Integration: Demonstrating strong familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and integrating solutions with big data tools and various cloud platforms to handle large volumes of diverse data.
• Data Analysis & Mapping: Possessing the ability to thoroughly analyze and interpret complex data sets, and leading critical data mapping efforts to ensure accurate data flow and transformation.
• Documentation Development: Developing and meticulously maintaining both user-facing and technical documentation for data architectures, models, and processes.
• Data Security & Compliance: Exhibiting a solid understanding of data security principles and critical regulatory compliance requirements relevant to data storage and access.
• Communication & Problem-Solving: Utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities to address data challenges.

• Data Modeling Tools: Erwin or ER/Studio
• Database Management Systems:
  • Relational: Such as SQL Server
  • NoSQL: Such as MongoDB
• Programming Languages: T-SQL, Python, R
• Collaboration & Project Management: JIRA
• Cloud Platform: Azure Platform

Required Experience:

We are looking for a highly seasoned professional with:

• A minimum of 8+ years of dedicated experience as a Data Architect.
