Our client, a leading technology provider, is actively seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be a vital member of the End User Services department, providing essential support to various internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring a successful alignment within the organization’s collaborative environment.
Location & Compensation:
Location: Longmont, Colorado (Onsite Only) Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hr
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Desktop Support Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Configuring, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing comprehensive support for computer workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Researching, installing, and meticulously troubleshooting all aspects of laptop and desktop hardware, as well as associated software.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while directly interacting with users to efficiently resolve a wide range of technical issues.
- Performing necessary hardware repairs and replacements, and coordinating effectively with external vendors when required.
- Managing the ticket queue within ServiceNow, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner according to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
What’s Needed:
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated desktop support role.
- Proficiency in providing support for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS, including various mobile platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities.
- Experience with Active Directory and maintaining data integrity and file system security.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
