Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive DevOps Engineer to support several application development teams across a diverse technology landscape. This role will play a key part in automating and optimizing infrastructure and application delivery using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Git. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices in hybrid cloud environments (Azure & AWS), and be comfortable working with platforms including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Position Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless, automated, and efficient delivery of enterprise applications. You’ll work closely with various development teams, providing the foundational infrastructure and robust CI/CD pipelines needed for rapid and secure software releases. Your expertise will be critical in driving the adoption of Infrastructure as Code and GitOps principles across hybrid cloud environments, particularly for Microsoft-centric platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Your contributions will span application delivery, infrastructure automation, and platform operations:
- Application DevOps (Azure DevOps + Git):
- Design, implement, and meticulously manage CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps. These pipelines will support the automated build, test, and deployment workflows for D365 F&O, Power Platform solutions, and custom applications across various environments.
- Partner proactively with development teams to fully automate their build, test, and deployment workflows, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Implement effective branching strategies and maintain pristine source control using Git, fostering collaborative and organized development.
- Manage version control, secure build artifacts, and orchestrate release pipelines for both cloud-native and legacy applications, ensuring traceable and reliable deployments.
- Coordinate D365 F&O deployments utilizing Lifecycle Services (LCS) and integrate these processes seamlessly with Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform + Cloud):
- Leverage Terraform extensively to define and provision robust cloud infrastructure components within both Azure and AWS environments.
- Build, manage, and meticulously maintain reusable IaC (Infrastructure as Code) modules, ensuring they align with internal standards and stringent security requirements.
- Automate the provisioning of infrastructure for environments directly supporting application teams, encompassing network configurations, compute resources, storage solutions, identity management, and comprehensive monitoring setups.
- Maintain strict infrastructure versioning and implement GitOps workflows to manage infrastructure deployments declaratively.
- Platform Operations & Support:
- Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal scalability, and peak performance for all supported applications.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions utilizing tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or relevant third-party tools to provide deep operational insights.
- Collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to effectively enforce policies related to access control, data handling, and auditability across all infrastructure.
- Provide essential operational support, meticulously troubleshoot complex deployment issues, and lead thorough root cause analysis efforts when necessary to maintain system stability.
Required Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly proficient and experienced DevOps professional with:
- DevOps Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of direct, hands-on DevOps experience specifically supporting both cloud-native and traditional enterprise applications.
- Azure DevOps Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience with Azure DevOps, including its core components: Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
- Terraform Proficiency: Proven proficiency in Terraform for implementing Infrastructure as Code across both Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Git Mastery: Expert-level proficiency as a Git user, coupled with a solid understanding and practical application of GitOps practices.
- Microsoft Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with Microsoft D365 F&O build/release processes and a strong understanding of Power Platform ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
- Scripting Skills: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for various automation tasks.
- Cloud Services Understanding: A strong understanding of core Azure and AWS services specifically related to compute, networking, identity, and monitoring.
- Secure Environment Management: Experience setting up and managing environment configurations, handling secrets securely, and implementing robust secure deployment practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following experience will be at a distinct advantage:
- D365 F&O Lifecycle Services: Direct experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS) for D365 F&O environment management and automating build processes.
- Power Platform DevOps: Exposure to Power Platform DevOps, including automated deployments of Power Apps and Power Automate via Azure DevOps.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)/EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Microsoft/Cloud Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-400: Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions, AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator, PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant) or equivalent cloud certifications from AWS.
