Our client is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Network Engineer to join their team. As an Enterprise Network Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of a Professional Services department, providing crucial support to various agencies within the U.S. Public Sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring successful alignment within the organization’s commitment to operational excellence and public service.

What’s the Job?
As an Enterprise Network Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, optimizing, and delivering critical network solutions for public sector agencies. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Delivery Engagements: Taking the lead on critical delivery engagements, ensuring operational excellence in service delivery execution for complex networking projects.
- Requirements Assessment & Solution Development: Collaborating directly with customers to thoroughly assess their unique requirements and subsequently developing optimized, robust networking solutions tailored to their needs.
- Technical Expertise & Problem Resolution: Providing deep technical expertise and expert guidance to effectively resolve complex customer problems, ensuring network stability and performance.
- Continuous Skill Development: Continuously learning and strengthening your technical skills in relevant networking domains and adjacent technologies, staying ahead of industry advancements.
- Network Architecture & Design: Contributing to the design of secure and scalable network architectures for enterprise and data center environments.
- Implementation & Configuration: Implementing and configuring Cisco network devices, focusing on both hardware and software features.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex network connectivity issues and performance bottlenecks.
What’s Needed?
We’re looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient Enterprise Network Engineer with:
- Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field, combined with 8-10 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Networking.
- Core Networking Understanding: A deep understanding of key technologies and protocols fundamental to Enterprise Networking and modern data center environments.
- Cisco Expertise: Proven technical expertise in Cisco software features and functionality. This includes strong skills in Routing/Switching (R/S) with specific expertise in Nexus 7k, Nexus 9k, and Catalyst 9k series switches.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and compelling presentation skills.
- Preferred Certifications: Industry certifications such as CCIE R/S (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching) or CCIE Data Center are highly preferred.
- Additional Valuable Skills (Plus): Experience with VXLAN, Network Security (e.g., firewalls, access control), Core network technologies, Nexus platform, and Wireless networking is a significant plus.
