Our client, a leading financial services institution, is actively seeking a highly skilled IAM Triage Lead Analyst (Information Security Analyst 3) to join their dynamic team. As an IAM Triage Lead Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of the Cybersecurity Department, providing crucial support to both the Identity Access Management (IAM) and Risk Governance teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, collaborative communication abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, ensuring successful alignment within the organization’s dynamic and highly regulated environment.


Location & Compensation:

  • Location: This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with primary locations in Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; or Dallas, TX.
  • Pay Range: $53/hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an IAM Triage Lead Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex identity and access management issues, playing a critical role in maintaining the security posture of a major financial institution. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Complex IAM Issue Resolution Leadership: Taking the lead in the assessment and swift resolution of highly complex IAM-related issues. This includes ensuring rapid and accurate triage to minimize impact on critical business operations and user productivity.
  • In-Depth Root Cause Analysis & Remediation: Performing thorough, in-depth root cause analysis for recurring or systemic IAM problems. You’ll then be responsible for implementing robust, long-term remediation strategies to prevent future occurrences and strengthen the IAM ecosystem.
  • Process Improvement Collaboration: Collaborating closely and effectively with engineering, operations, and risk management teams to continuously identify opportunities for and implement tangible improvements in IAM processes, thereby enhancing overall efficiency, security, and user experience.
  • Expert IAM Guidance & Consultation: Providing expert guidance and technical consultation on a wide array of IAM tools, various authentication protocols, and established access governance best practices to internal teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Risk Trend Identification & Analysis: Analyzing comprehensive IAM data to proactively identify emerging risk trends and patterns. You’ll assess their potential impact on the organization and recommend proactive process enhancements to mitigate future threats before they escalate.
  • Security Incident Triage & Coordination: Serving as a primary point of contact for triaging IAM-related security incidents. This involves quickly assessing the severity and scope of incidents and directing them to appropriate incident response teams for swift and effective handling.
  • Documentation & Key Metrics Reporting: Contributing significantly to the creation and meticulous maintenance of clear, concise documentation for IAM processes, comprehensive troubleshooting guides, and insightful reporting on key performance and security metrics.

What’s Needed:

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced IAM professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment:

  • Information Security & IAM Expertise: A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Information Security roles, with a strong focus on Identity Access Management (IAM).
  • Enterprise IAM Tools Proficiency: Proven proficiency and hands-on experience with various enterprise-level IAM tools and platforms, including SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, and Azure AD.
  • Incident Triage & Root Cause Analysis Expertise: Direct, demonstrable experience in effectively triaging a wide range of IAM incidents and conducting thorough root cause analysis to identify underlying systemic issues.
  • Scripting for Automation & Analysis: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automating routine tasks, performing data analysis, and developing custom tools to enhance IAM operations.
  • Financial Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of relevant financial regulatory requirements and specific IAM compliance standards pertinent to the financial services industry.
  • Analytical & Proactive Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex data sets and effectively solve intricate technical challenges. This is coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact the business.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to articulate complex technical details clearly to diverse audiences, and a highly collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
