Location & Compensation:

• Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)
• Pay Range: $68.26 – $73.68 per hour

What’s the Job?

As a Python Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and delivering critical applications within the financial sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Code Design & Delivery Leadership: Leading the design of high-quality code and overseeing its delivery, including complex integration tasks to ensure seamless system functionality.
• Requirements Adherence: Ensuring that all developed solutions meet stringent functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements, crucial for the financial industry.
• Solution Coding & Unit Testing: Writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code for various solutions, along with comprehensive unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaising effectively with external vendors and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to gather, understand, and implement data requirements accurately.
• Performance Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyzing system performance to identify bottlenecks and actively troubleshooting issues within various system engineering domains to ensure optimal operation.
• End-to-End Solution Building: Contributing to the full lifecycle of solutions, from initial design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

What’s Needed?

We’re looking for a highly seasoned and proficient Python Developer with:

• Overall Senior Development Experience: A strong senior development background with 10+ years of overall experience in software development.
• Extensive Python Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• RDBMS Proficiency: 5+ years of experience with SQL Server or an equivalent Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).
• Testing Expertise: 5+ years of solid experience in writing and maintaining comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Financial Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in the financial industry, demonstrating an understanding of its unique demands and regulations.
• Integration Patterns Understanding: A strong understanding of various integration patterns and best practices.
• End-to-End Solution Design: Proven experience in technical design and building solutions from end-to-end (E2E).
• Quartz Development (Desired): Knowledge of Quartz development is highly desired.
