An opportunity has come through our network for a Back End Engineer at Yudai Humanity Co., Ltd. This full-time, permanent position, based in Tokyo, Japan (Shibuya, Yoyogi), offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from ¥285,000 – ¥500,000 (annual salary of 4,000,000–6,000,000 JPY) and includes visa sponsorship. What You’ll Be Doing: Developing and Operating Communication Platforms for a Global User Base

As a Back End Engineer, you will be deeply involved in the development, management, and operation of a communication platform designed for foreigners. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from developing new features to resolving critical system issues and collaborating with external partners.

  • Develop New Services and Features for Communication Platform: You will be responsible for developing new services and additional features to further expand the user base of a communication platform specifically tailored for foreigners. This involves designing and implementing backend logic, APIs, and database integrations that support new functionalities, ultimately enhancing the user experience and attracting more users to the platform.
  • Development of SIM/Wi-Fi Application and Sales Websites: A core duty will be the development of SIM/Wi-Fi application and sales websites. This includes building robust backend systems that power the functionality of these websites, handling user applications, sales processes, and integrating with inventory and billing systems for SIM card and Wi-Fi router services. Your work directly supports the company’s core business offerings.
  • Investigation and Resolution of SIM/Wi-Fi Management System Issues: You will play a crucial role in the investigation and resolution of issues related to the SIM/Wi-Fi management system. This involves diagnosing technical problems, tracing root causes, and implementing effective solutions to ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous operation of the system that manages user accounts, device activation, and service delivery for SIM and Wi-Fi offerings.
  • Comprehensive Involvement in Software Lifecycle: You will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities across the entire software lifecycle. This includes active participation in development (coding new features), management (overseeing system health), operation (ensuring continuous service), maintenance (applying updates, bug fixes), and even negotiations with outsourced developers for project collaboration or issue resolution. Employment Details: Your Compensation and Work-Life Balance in Tokyo

  • Annual Salary: ¥4,000,000–6,000,000 JPY (negotiable based on experience and abilities).
  • Monthly Salary: ¥285,000 JPY or more.
  • Probation Period: 6 months (salary and benefits remain unchanged during this period).
  • Annual Income Example: An example breakdown for an annual income of 4,000,000 JPY is a monthly salary of 285,000 JPY + two annual bonuses (equivalent to two months of salary based on last year’s results) + other allowances.
  • Location: Tokyo Office (1-25-5 Yoyogi, Biz Smart Yoyogi, Shibuya, Tokyo). This location is a 3-minute walk from JR Yamanote Line “Yoyogi” Station.
  • Remote Work: Remote work options are available upon consultation, offering flexibility.
  • Work Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with a 1-hour break).
  • Holidays: 120 days per year, including Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, ensuring complete two-day weekends.
  • Leave:
